Tender Transitions: Medically Fragile Foster Parent Coach

Tender Transitions provides coaching services to therapeutic foster parents of medically fragile children. Our services include training therapeutic foster parents how to minister to the needs of their medically fragile children physically, emotionally, and spiritually so they can move them from trauma to triumph. Tender Transitions provides: weekly group coaching; a subscription-based forum that includes helpful videos, posts, and monthly group coaching; and a library of educational coaching videos and other helpful resources that can be purchased (this is being built).

Foster parents in the United States are quitting left and right. The average time a set of foster parents last is two-to-three years. Why is this? Many of them say it is because they do not feel equipped to do their job. Therapeutic foster parents of medically fragile foster children are even harder pressed to keep in the system. These parents need help, and there is not enough help to those who need it! There are other companies that specialize in helping foster parents, but there are not many who specialize in helping foster parents of medically fragile foster children. There are also not many whose focus is to carry the child, themselves, from trauma to triumph. Foster children face so much trauma, and the medically fragile foster child goes through twice the trauma that typical foster children do. We coach foster parents on how to minister to the needs of their medically fragile children physically, emotionally, and spiritually so they can move them from trauma to triumph.
