Small businesses are a foundational pillar of our economy. According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses create two-thirds of new jobs and account for 44% of U.S. economic activity. I grew up helping my father run his small business, a pottery studio and supply store located in Alexandria, VA. That’s why I believe in the power of small business, and why I’ve dedicated my career to supporting small teams and solopreneurs. From one small business to another, I am dedicated to building our small business community.

As the founder of Calathea Creative, I work hard to create website, social media, and digital marketing setups that fit the needs of my clients. One of the frustrations I met quite often when searching for website design and development services before I started doing it myself was the lack of control I had over the websites. So many marketing agencies don't ensure that business owners actually OWN their own websites and domains. Instead of creating completely hands-off setups for my clients, which very few of them can afford in the beginning stages of their business anyway, I encourage them to allow me to train them and educate them on their digital property.

I combine digital marketing services with training so that clients who can't afford ongoing website management services can continue on maintaining their site themselves. They have the knowledge and the power to do so.
