Founder, Renee Chapman, is a former director of municipal parks and recreation departments. She is experienced in re-energizing and optimizing neglected rural recreation departments with small budgets. Renee has been affectionately referred to as "Leslie Knope", a nod to the cheerful, ambitious, hardworking, optimistic main character of the TV series Parks and Recreation played by actor Amy Poehler. Renee is now taking her budgeting experience and planning skills to individuals who want to build a strong financial foundation for themselves.

Renee is a proud Granite Stater (New Hampshire native) and military spouse who currently calls Connecticut home. She is a mother to three young adults and a bonus mom to four elementary-aged children. Her free time is spent enjoying live music, touring National Parks, and exploring the great outdoors while hiking, biking, and camping.
